President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted the strong recovery of the national manufacturing sector

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the strong recovery of the national manufacturing sector during a visit to the production plant of Valmy, an emblematic cosmetics and personal care company with 67 years of experience in the country.

“Look, I am very encouraged to be in a company that has been giving happiness to Venezuelan women for 67 years, this is really a company with a great tradition in our country, which was impacted during the economic blockade and which is in a frank process of recovery thanks to the coordination of public policies of the National Economic Council,” said the National President.

He also stressed that thanks to dialogue with businessmen, the Bolivarian Government has been able to meet their needs. “The manufacturing sector is growing (...). Two years ago they were hit hard by smuggling, by the illegal entry of products that sought to replace us, and at that time action was taken and it had a very good impact,” he said.

“Today we are facing an industry in full recovery, but that recovery occurs within the framework of economic growth in Venezuela,” he said.
