Delcy Rodríguez: Venezuela leads economic growth in the region

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said that the nation is consolidating itself at the forefront of economic growth in Latin America, driven by the diversified reactivation of its productive sectors and a sustained increase in the well-being of the workforce.
The national president, during a visit to the Valmy production plant, stressed that the national economy registered an expansion of 7.14% in the second quarter, a figure that reflects the positive impact of public policies and the agreements reached with the different productive actors.
“Our growth was 7.14% and I want to emphasize here that the income of our workers this year increased by 50%. Workers' income must always be above the Gross Domestic Product,” he emphasized.
He stated that the growth in consumption of 25%, “numbers that allow us to know that we are on the right path” that the policies that have been designed, that the agreements that are being signed, also seek to consolidate that economic growth.
He recalled that yesterday (September 9), a social dialogue was held with the business sectors, union representatives and the National Government, to address labor consensuses that allow better benefits for workers, both in the public sector and the private sector.
