Bolivarian Government handed over fully rehabilitated Women's Unit at the University Hospital of Maracaibo

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, handed over the completely rehabilitated first Women's Unit of the University Hospital of Maracaibo, of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission (GMVM), in the state of Zulia.
For her part, the first lady of the state of Zulia, Roselyn López de Caldera, assured that today more than ever the rights of Venezuelan women are being vindicated, thus guaranteeing the right of the first vertex.
He also stressed that this is one of the units that we want to inaugurate in the Zulian entity, so, now, the doors of this unit are open for the benefit of all our women who are part of this commune and communal circuits.
For her part, the head of service and head of the Women's Unit, Dr. Stephanie Sánchez, stressed that the Women's Unit has high-tech equipment that will provide comprehensive health, in all its stages, in addition to a specialized team such as gynecologists, psychologists and nutritionists, in order to guarantee women's care and strengthen the public health system.
At the same time, he noted that among the services that will be offered at the hospital, there is the area of vaginal ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, biophysical and eco-dynamic profiles, video-colposcopy studies for the prevention of cervical cancer, breast ultrasound and a hormonal testing laboratory.
