Bolivarian Government handed over the first planting house in Petare

This initiative will allow food production to remain in the territory

With the objective of producing 50,000 short-cycle vegetable seedlings, every 22 to 28 days and directly serving more than 40 producers in the La Suiza sector, in San Blas, Petare parish, Sucre municipality in Miranda state, the Bolivarian Government handed over the first planting house to spokespersons and spokespersons of the Simón Rodríguez Mission Base.

In a press release from the Ministry of the People's Power of Urban Agriculture (MINPPAU), it indicates that this is an articulation between the Ministries of the People's Power of Urban Agriculture and Industry, within the framework of the Carabobo 200 Agrourban Plan and its My Clap is Productive Program .

In this regard, the head of the MINPPAU, Jhoanna Carrillo, stated that they are complying with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in order to continue supporting neighborhoods.

“We are currently undergoing the first economic transformation, the productive one, and we have found precisely in this sector the real productive capacity and the commitment to boost production,” he said.

He also explained that thanks to the work of both Ministries, the installation of this space was achieved, which has a dual purpose; one is to bet and support productive leverage with seedlings produced in the same house, vegetables and other items for more than 40 agro-urban producers who live in the dot and circle.

Carrillo assured that this action will allow food production to remain in the territory and that the Popular Power that benefits from the aforementioned food house through Fundaproal, an agency attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Food, to receive productive training and seedlings.

He added that “it is a productive culture that allows Petare to have a productive sense and that is what the President asks, that with simple things, with pleasant things, with real, practicable things, we can ensure that our producers in the city have that leverage that he has said so much.”

For his part, the Sectorial Vice President of Economy and head of the Ministry of Popular Power for Industries and National Production, José Félix Rivas Alvarado, asserted that they are demonstrating that from a community of Petare, a perfect alliance can be made with the producers of the area, with the popular organization, mission base, food house and planting house.

He added that there is another alliance with the Villa de Cura Mother Plant, which was the one that manufactured the structure of the house, through the Ministry of Popular Power of Industries.

The head of the Simón Rodríguez Mission Base, Daisy Palma, expressed a few words of thanks to President Maduro, for continuing to trust in Popular Power. “Here, from deep inside, we have more than 40 producers, who are already characterized and had a first phase of training,” he said.

The mayor of the Sucre municipality of the said entity, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, highlighted the importance of housing for the sector, “power is being given to the People, power to the Popular Power, power to the communes, which is what we are doing.”

“This is the new culture of socialism so that the people organized as a commune can produce and be self-sustainable. That is the new culture that we are bringing to Bolivarian Venezuela, to our heroic Venezuela, it is the culture that we are planting today,” he stressed.

During the opening ceremony, boots, 10-liter sprinklers, earthworm leachate, garden kit, biocontroller kit, germination trays with 200 sockets, substrate and seeds for chili, coriander, chives, chard, paprika and tomato were given to those responsible for the house.
