Bolivarian Government held a Day of Care for Grandparents and Grandmothers in San José de Guaribe

In San José de Guaribe, Guárico state, a Day of Comprehensive Care was successfully held within the framework of the Great Mission of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland, where older adults in the town received various medical and social assistance. Under the motto: “More Years, More Love!” , this event is part of the plans promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, in his firm commitment to strengthening the well-being of the elderly population in this new phase of the Revolution.
The event was actively attended by the Somos Venezuela Movement, the National Institute of Nutrition, the Institute for Women, Social Protection and the Dr. José María Vargas ASIC, institutions that came together to ensure the success of the event. Beneficiary grandparents and grandmothers enjoyed a variety of services, such as the delivery of medications, anthropometric measurements, nutritional assessment, general consultations, as well as manicure services and recreational activities. In addition, power modules were delivered as part of the Social Protection System.

The mayor of the municipality, Mayor Julio Yánez, expressed his satisfaction at sharing this day with the older adult population and reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution to those who have dedicated their lives to building the country. “My sincerest gratitude to our grandparents and grandmothers, who with their wisdom and struggle have forged the development of the family and the country. Today, more than ever, the Revolution is on their side, guaranteeing the attention and respect they deserve. It has been a pleasure to share your experiences and to continue to learn from you. Love pays for itself with love! More Years, More Love!” , he said.
This day reflects the ongoing efforts of the Bolivarian Government to ensure that older adults receive comprehensive and timely care, reaffirming its commitment to caring for those who have given so much for the country.
