In order to boost energy supply in the South-West Region of the country, the NATIONAL ELECTRIC CORPORATION (Corpoelec) carried out preventive and corrective maintenance work on transmission lines in the state of Trujillo.

The maneuvers consisted of correcting hot spots, comprehensive maintenance, thermographic inspection and vegetation cutting on the Buena Vista — Vigía II, Buena Vista — Caja Seca, Valera II — Buena Vista, Valera II — Planta Páez and Buena Vista Morochas lines, with the purpose of protecting electrical infrastructures and guaranteeing service to communities in the region.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy, through CORPOELEC, reaffirms its commitment to guarantee an optimal and efficient service for the good life of the population, to strengthen the reliability of the service in the national territory.
