Bolivarian Government improves drains in Easter Valley with heavy machinery

Bolivarian Government officials worked on more than 11 kilometers of drains that will be fully optimized in the Leonardo Infante municipality (Easter Valley) of Guárico state, as a preventive measure in the face of the arrival of the rainy cycle.

The project seeks to mitigate flood risks and ensure the safety and well-being of the children's population.

This operation includes the distribution of heavy machinery in strategic areas, paying special attention to the La Danta and La Pascua streams. The work is complemented by the removal of sediments, weeds and solid waste carried out by the Directorate of Urban Development and the Directorate of Public Services, attached to the local government, a press release reported.

This plan in the main rainwater basins and sub-basins of the entity, highlighting that these actions are essential for the protection of the most vulnerable communities during the rainy season.
