The Bolivarian government, through the Government of Miranda State and the Ministry of People's Power for Water, inaugurated two drinking water wells this Thursday in Guatire, Zamora municipality.

The inauguration was led by the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano Carpio, who stressed that this action continues to take enormous steps to improve the quality of life of families in the 21 municipalities of the state of Miranda.

Well 9 located in the El Ingenio sector of the Guatire parish will benefit the communities of Los Naranjos Parte Alta, VTV and Las Flores del Ingenio with 15 liters per second, which have more than 10,500 inhabitants.

Governor Serrano said that to date, 20 wells have been rehabilitated throughout the region to supply communities in Miranda with drinking water, according to the Gobernación de Miranda press.

“In the coming weeks, we are going to work to install the valves and bring drinking water to every household in this sector with greater capacity,” said the governor, announcing that three more wells will be delivered in the coming 12 weeks.

This excavation will allow access to the water resource to approximately 10,500 people from the point and circle who live together in the communities of Altos I and II, Mucuchí, La Casona, Residencias Eifer and Mirador del Este.

Serrano said that due to the complexity of the Miranda state water system, the Regional Executive is obliged to seek alternatives that allow optimal access to drinking resources.

Later, Serrano inspected and delivered the well of the DR. General Hospital. Eugenio P.D. Bellard, located in the Castillejo sector.
