In the company of workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), the People's Power Minister for Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, inspected the specialized work being carried out at the Malena 765 kV Substation, located in the north of the state of Bolívar, to strengthen the National Electric System (SEN).
This substation is an integral element of SEN, as nearly 75% of the energy generated at the Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant in Guri passes through it, which is transmitted to the Central West of the country.
In this regard, Márquez specified that the inspection was carried out to review the work carried out by the workers of CORPOELEC, whom he described as ingenious, trained and very professional for preserving the spaces of this important infrastructure, which he described “as one of the most beautiful in the country”.
He also expressed his gratitude to the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, for her efforts, commitment and support to the National Electricity System (SEN). “We have not failed you and we will not fail you or the country,” he said.
For his part, the president of CORPOELEC, Jorge Luis Betancourt, said that the work carried out at the substation reinforces the reliability of users.
