The Bolivarian Government began the first phase of the project to install a closed circuit television system in the Plaza Los Teques Market in Miranda.
It is a plan that aims to consolidate safer and more modern public spaces.
In a press release, the Guaicaipura mayor's office explained that this technological initiative aims to reinforce crime prevention and improve the capacity to respond to any eventuality within the enclosure, so the deployment of technical equipment began in areas with greater pedestrian flow, strategic access points, main corridors and cargo areas.
In this regard, the director of municipal markets, Ricardo Hurtado, stressed that this action fulfills a commitment made to the successful bidders and the inhabitants of the town, explaining that the first stage not only involves placing cutting-edge technology, but also designing a real-time monitoring network.
