Bolivarian Government issues travel alert for Venezuelans planning to go to the United States

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued a statement through its Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, in which it alerts Venezuelan citizens planning to travel to the United States about the risks and conditions they could face in that country.
The statement published by the Deputy Minister for Latin America and the Caribbean, Rander Peña, on his account on the social network Telegram, states that “in recent months, there has been an increase in arbitrary migratory control measures and in policies of harassment against Venezuelans.”
In this regard, it recommends that those who reside or transit through the United States take extreme precautionary measures due to the increase in violent incidents and the violation of human rights.
