Bolivarian Government launched the “José Gregorio Hernández” Hospital Infrastructure Plan

The plan aims to comprehensively improve basic services in hospitals in the country

The Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Isabel Iturria, and the Vice President of Public Works and Services, Juan Ramírez, launched the “José Gregorio Hernández” Hospital Infrastructure Plan, at an event held at the Domingo Luciani Hospital.

On its Instagram account, the Ministry of People's Power for Health (MPPS) highlights that the plan aims to comprehensively improve basic services in hospitals in the country.

It specifies that the plan includes drinking water supply, electrical maintenance, elevator repair, waterproofing and accessibility for people with disabilities.

In addition, Metrobús routes will be created to facilitate transportation to health centers. The initiative will begin with nine hospitals and will be quickly extended to the rest of the country's health centers.
