The Bolivian Government, through the Government of Mérida and the mayor's office of the Libertador municipality, deployed an emergency operation in the Milla parish, with the objective of dealing with the damage caused by recent rainfall.

In this regard, it became known that, after the technical inspection, the need to build a new retaining wall of approximately 20 meters in length was determined.

“In addition, the bridge structure will be reinforced and the debris from the fractured wall that obstructs the river's water section will be removed, in order to normalize the channel and prevent future overflows,” said Manuel Morante, director of Municipal Roads and Transportation.

These works will be carried out by the technical teams of CORPOELEC and the Cabinet of the Second Transformation, who immediately intervened after the collapse of two electrical structures.
