Bolivarian Government of Monagas held a surgical day on child traumatology

The Bolivarian Government of the state of Monagas, through the El Niño Simón Regional Foundation, carried out a surgical day of child traumatology for the benefit of 10 patients.
According to information issued by the government, the day of free operations was carried out at the Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar University Hospital, where the beneficiaries received specialized medical care that will allow them to improve their quality of life.
Among the beneficiaries are Frenmary Medina, a 15-year-old adolescent, who has faced the challenges of multiple congenital arthrogryposis since her birth, a condition that affects joints and limits mobility; in addition to the varus clubfoot and the need for tendon elongation, which has required constant surgical interventions to improve her quality of life.
“These operations cost around 4,000 dollars in the clinic and it was impossible for us to pay for them; thanks to Governor Ernesto Luna and the El Niño Foundation, both my daughters and other boys have a new opportunity to realize the dream of walking,” said Vismary Ramos, Franmary's mother, moved.
“In this way, the El Niño Simón Monagas Foundation, led by the entity's first lady, Sorenelly Zambrano de Luna, reiterated its commitment to continue supporting families in Monagua and to continue to be a beacon of hope in times of difficulty,” the Government reported.
