The Bolivarian Government provided more than 128 grants to seafarers in the state of Zulia, with the purpose of promoting fishing development in the entity where the role of women fishermen was also recognized.

The information was released on the Instagram account of the Ministry of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, where it highlights that the fishermen of Lake Maracaibo also received 20 paca bale motors and 50 kits for hooks, containing nylon, epoxy glue set, sail and plastic reel.

Financing is part of the economic policy promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to consolidate Food Sovereignty.
