The Ministry of People's Power for Health delivered a total of 445,000 units of medical-surgical equipment and high-priority drugs to health care centers in the state of Apure.

This provision, under the coordination of INSALUD Apure, has as its main objective the immediate supply of emergency rooms and the increase of operational capacity in the main health centers in the Llanera region, details a press release.

Medical supplies and treatments will be distributed equally in six key healthcare centers in the state: the Dr. Pablo Acosta Ortiz Hospital in the San Fernando municipality, the Guasdualito General Hospital in the Páez municipality, the Martín de J. Espinoza Hospital in the Achaguas municipality, the Dr. Ricardo Archila Hospital in the Muñoz municipality, the Elorza Hospital in the Romulo municipality Gallegos and the San Juan de Payara Hospital in the Pedro Camejo municipality.

With this distribution, national and regional authorities guarantee free, timely and quality medical care, which reinforces social welfare and the right to health both in urban areas and in the most difficult to access plain communities.
