The Bolivarian Government reactivated an aqueduct in Guárico state to benefit more than 400 families in the Libertad de Orituco parish, who regained direct access to drinking water, the Mayor's Office of the José Tadeo Monagas municipality reported, according to the Última Noticias portal.

The rehabilitation carried out by a specialized technical team included the installation of electrical wiring and the comprehensive adaptation of connections to start up a 50 HP motor pump and ensure that neighbors have a stable and continuous water supply.

For his part, Mayor Pedro Solórzano stressed that these actions are part of his administration's commitment to strengthening basic services and directly meeting the population's requests.

He reported that permanent monitoring will be maintained at the station, with the objective of ensuring that the equipment operates under the correct technical parameters, guaranteeing the useful life of the investment and the peace of mind of the inhabitants.

In this same line of work, the municipal government carried out the recovery of the pumping system in the El Diamante sector of Altagracia de Orituco.

The installation of a complete undercarriage guarantees the improvement of the water supply in the communities of La Unión, Brisas del Peñón, Brisas del Orituco, Colinas del Orituco, La Planta and Las Mayitas, as well as in the San Juan alley, Santa Teresa Avenue, Zaraza and Puerto Rico streets and areas of Guaiquerís and Saladillo.
