The Bolivarian Government resumed road traffic between Apure and Barinas this Thursday, July 31. with the opening of the “El Muerto” Bridge built in Bruzual in record time of 15 days, after heavy rains caused the collapse of the road that linked both regions.

The information was released on the Instagram account of the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán.

This situation interrupted land traffic and affected mobility in the area, which created an urgent need to repair and rebuild the connection.

In response to this contingency, the authorities carried out the construction of a new bridge that will allow for the restoration of traffic between the two states.

This project is part of the ongoing actions to recover terrestrial connectivity affected by climatic conditions, which contributes to the economic and social reactivation of the communities involved.
