Bolivarian Government rehabilitated Santa Rufina School in the Apureño municipality of Biruaca

Work was carried out to waterproof the roof, install the 220v electrical outlet, install electricity in 6 learning environments, plus the school canteen

The national government rehabilitated the Santa Rufina Bolivarian Primary School, in the Biruaca municipality of Apure state, to benefit more than 500 students.

The repair and maintenance work was carried out by the Foundation for Buildings and Educational Endowments (FEDE), an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, together with the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), the local Government and the Ministry of Communes.

Work was carried out to waterproof the roof, install the 220v electricity outlet, install electricity in 6 learning environments, plus the school canteen, roof replacement, installation of an air tank, installation of ventilation in a learning space, in addition to the construction of a laboratory and the provision of the dining area and kitchen.

“Today I want to thank our president Nicolás Maduro for this beautiful benefit. We are very happy for the rehabilitation of our beautiful school and for the provision of the school canteen,” said student spokesperson Yoyscar Rivero, a 6th grade student.

The director of the Center for Development for Educational Quality in the state of Apure, Marys Orasma, said that the entity has 1116 schools, of which 976 have been rehabilitated by the Bolivarian Government and the BRICOMILES.

The Minister of Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado, who accompanied the delivery of works, highlighted the work carried out by the institution's staff, its students and the BRICOMILES. “Since this beautiful work that our Government has done with you, we know and recognize that you have worked with your heart, with love. They do their profession very well, they do it very well and they have a vocation to educate,” he said.
