In an articulated effort between the Bolivarian Government and the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the main road in the Nuevo Horizonte sector, in the Sucre parish, was completely rehabilitated.

The project optimizes the connectivity of 30 communities and significantly improves the quality of life of at least 22,000 inhabitants.

The award ceremony was attended by the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, who specified that the works, which were carried out in record time, included the asphalting of almost four thousand meters of road.

In addition, Meléndez stressed that the teams will remain deployed in the parish to continue comprehensive care work. “We continue to work, under the guidelines of our president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and to fulfill commitments previously made in this territory,” he said.

For his part, the sectoral vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, indicated that this strategic intervention not only facilitates road traffic in general, but also guarantees an immediate improvement in the public transport service routes that serve the Catia area.
