As part of the work contemplated in Plan 90 carried out by HIDROFALCÓN to guarantee optimal service to the state, the workforce carried out the installation of monoblock equipment at the El Víncolo pumping station, located in the El Balsamar sector of the Falcón municipality.
This work makes it possible to optimize the supply of drinking water for 1,960 inhabitants of the sectors: Barrialito, Casco Central, CANTV, Felicia Valles, San José Socialist Integration, Balzamar, Divino Niño, Las Violetas, Santa Bárbara, Flor Blanca, La Represa and El Tanquecito.
The work consisted of the installation of a monoblock-type equipment that has a built-in motor and pump, with a capacity of 30 horsepower and 3,500 revolutions per minute, allowing a maximum height of 60 meters to be exceeded on this distribution axis and providing 12 liters per second to the sectors farthest from the El Víncolo parish, according to a press release from the ministerial portfolio.
For this installation, the Falcón state hydrological workforce carried out electromechanical rehabilitation, adapting the equipment to the existing infrastructure. In addition, a new electrical panel was installed with all its components.
