The National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (INCES) carried out the reinauguration of the Inces Early Childhood Education Center (CEI), located in San Martín, with the participation of the president of the entity, Wuikelman Angel; the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez and the Minister of Education, Yelitze Santaella.
The objective of this activity was to provide a modernized and refurbished space to guarantee comprehensive educational care for 50 children between 3 and 6 years old, children of INCES staff and nearby communities. This initiative is in line with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, regarding the recovery of educational centers.

The infrastructure of the CEI Inces now has capacity for approximately 90 children, with spacious and comfortable classrooms, a dining area, a music room and a nursing service. In addition, technological equipment, teaching material and utensils necessary for the operation of the center were purchased.
The reopening also included the restoration of the recreational park, the acquisition of a swimming pool for recreational activities and the renovation of the grotto of the Virgin and the security area. In addition, a modern hydropneumatic system was implemented to ensure the constant supply of water.
In this regard, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, said: “The work that INCES did with the recovery of this educational center is in addition to all the repairs and rehabilitations done to the schools; a work that we do fulfilling that instruction of our dear president Nicolás Maduro, who gave priority to education, health and services, and that is what we have been working on in recent years.”

For her part, the head of the educational portfolio recognized the work, not only of the president of INCES, but of all the staff who work in the institution and who made it possible to refurbish the CEI INCES. Also, as a good teacher”, as she herself said, she left a task to INCES: We must search for the name of a teacher who has been significant, eponyms must mean something, and they must look like what we are. This can't just be called CEI INCES, we have to give it a name”.
In addition, Wikelman Angel spoke of this space as an example of what is being done every day in the country, “with the commitment and dedication that President Nicolás Maduro requires of us. The recovery of this space is a sign of the capacity of our people to overcome any obstacle,” he said.
