Bolivarian Government reinforced Peace Quadrants in Los Valles del Tuy

The Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia, checked the operation and reinforced the 56 Peace Quadrants in Los Valles del Tuy, Miranda state, within the framework of the Plan of the Seven Transformations and its third line focused on consolidation and coordination with popular power.

During a meeting held at the “Juan Antonio Pérez Bonalde” Lyceum, in Ocumare del Tuy, he emphasized the importance of coordination between the community, the 103 heads of Peace Quadrants, directors of OSC, military commanders and police commissioners to guarantee citizen security and defense for the materialization of our Great Quadrants of Peace Mission.

He highlighted that the 2,675 Peace Quadrants active throughout the country, of which 395 are in Miranda, are essential to provide protection to communities.

“These geographical spaces, which cover between two and five square kilometers, allow closer and more effective attention to the needs of citizens,” he said.

Palencia insisted on the need to work together with popular power organizations to build a more secure and supportive society, aligned with the country's seven strategic lines of transformation.

During the activity, evaluations of the 56 Peace Quadrants active in the Tuyera subregion were carried out, informative talks on crime prevention, and ties between security forces and communities were strengthened.

For their part, the representatives of the popular power of the Tomás Lander municipality, together with the mayor Dayana Báez, also held a meeting to evaluate the functioning of the six Peace Quadrants in the Mata de Coco urban planning, Quadrant P05 in the town.
