Bolivarian Government reopened two primary care medical centers in the parish of El Junquito

The Bolivarian Government, through the Mayor's Office of Caracas, reopened two primary care medical centers and deployed the Caravan of Solutions in the El Junquito Parish.

The activities were led by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, who first handed over the José María Vargas Medical Office, which reopened after a profound intervention, which will allow the care of an average of 80 people per week.

The office now has oximeters, otoscopes, blood pressure monitors, nebulizers and glucometers. It was also equipped with wheelchairs, weights (adults and pediatric), as well as a kitchen and staff bedrooms.

In addition, the Francisco de Miranda Health Module was fully rehabilitated, thanks to the joint work with the Bicentennial Era Commune and the El Junquito Alto ASIC, the facility has decent areas for medical rest and necessary supplies to guarantee free access and excellence in service.

Simultaneously, in the La Fortuna sector, at km 4, the Solutions Caravan reached its 63rd deployment, serving almost 17,000 inhabitants belonging to 22 communal councils in the area.

The deployment offered various services such as: Comprehensive medical care and pharmacy; delivery of technical aids, legal advice, barbershop and hairdressing services.

“The Lanceros de Guaicaipura and Los Sueños del Comandante Eternal communes are active here, as well as the Independence of My Homeland Circuit, with its leaders working together with the Mayor's Office of Caracas and the entities that have joined together for the welfare of the community,” said Meléndez.

The mayor explained that to date, in the 63 Caravans deployed, 63.58% of the Community Councils of Caracas have been served, reaching a figure of one million 319 thousand people approached throughout the capital city.
