In the continental area of Morrocoy National Park, officials from the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, together with local government personnel and volunteers, carried out a day of ecological restoration of mangroves with the planting of a significant number of red and black mangrove embryos.

This action is framed in the 54th anniversary of the Cuare Wildlife Refuge, located in the municipality of Monseñor Itturriza (Chichiriviche) and following national policies for environmental preservation and mitigation of climate change through the Chuquisaca National Plan.

The collective authority of Environment in Falcón state, Willis Medina, highlighted the strategic importance of this project for regional geography because it is a socio-environmental initiative that implements its first phase with the priority recovery of mangrove ecosystems.

However, the central objective of this technical operation is to strengthen natural barriers to protect shorelines, safeguard the area's rich marine biodiversity and guarantee the livelihood of local communities that directly depend on these natural resources, I review a local press release.
