The Deputy Minister for Risk Management and National Director of Civil Protection and Disaster Management, Juan Carlos Oti Paituvi, together with the governor of the Delta Amacuro state, Loa Tamaronis and other authorities, took a tour to oversee the work of caring for communities affected by the flooding of the Orinoco River, in the Castles of Guayana, which occurred this Thursday, August 14.

During the deployment, the authorities provided supplies and assistance to families because of the heavy rains that have occurred in the region.

The objective is to provide an immediate and effective response to the needs of the population, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Joint action between the Bolivarian and regional governments strengthens the commitment of both bodies to mitigate the effects of natural phenomena and protect the most vulnerable communities.

The authorities will continue to monitor the situation and will remain alert to continue providing the necessary support.
