The Bolivarian Government set up a Situational Room in the state of Mérida to serve the population of this Andean entity, who live in the states most affected by the earthquakes and also suffered the impact of the natural disaster.
In a review of Venezolana de Televisión, on its website, it indicates that this room is located in the Merida headquarters of Civil Protection (PC).
The Secretary for Security and Peace in Mérida, Antonio Rodríguez, explained that this room will include officials from Civil Protection and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
“All those affected people from Merida who lived in La Guaira or other affected areas can come here to the headquarters of Civil Protection, and download the necessary information to receive assistance from the national government,” he said.
In this regard, he indicated that PC immediately receives the people who issue their requests and transports them to the designated space, so that they receive timely attention.
He also announced that those affected can contact 911 to provide their information, which will be processed by the representatives and managers of this room in order to generate an immediate response.
