Bolivarian Government strengthens drinking water distribution system in San Fernando de Apure

The Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care, through the Hydrological Office of Los Llanos (Hidrollanos), installed two 240 HP submersible equipment in the collection of the María Nieves bridge, which serves 150,000 inhabitants of the municipality of San Fernando, Apure state.

The information was released by the president of Hidrollanos, Juan Turaren, who explained that these works were carried out with the purpose of improving the continuity and reliability of the service.

He also highlighted the commitment of Hydrology to advance in strengthening the water system in the llanera entity, Hidrollanos press reports.

The work consisted of installing and operating the pumping units in stations 2 and 3 of the catchment, and then carrying out the maneuvers that provide a flow of more than 500 L/S, which go directly to the purification process of the La Defensa plant.

Residents of the municipality appreciated the painstaking work they did to improve drinking water service in the Sanfernandi population.
