The Ministry of University Education will transfer to the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) the necessary economic resources to ensure food service to the entire community that lives in this house of study.

According to the newspaper Última Noticias, the measure will ensure that students, teaching, administrative and labor staff maintain access to the daily subsidy within the school.

The announcement was made by the head of the educational portfolio, Ana María Sanjuán, through her digital platforms.

The official statement comes as an institutional response to the recent report of the Student Welfare Organization (OBE-UCV), which reported that, due to budgetary limitations, the benefit of the dining room would be restricted exclusively to the student population of that institution.

Faced with this scenario, the National Executive will process an extraordinary budgetary adjustment aimed at financing the incorporation of 300 additional trays per day.
