Bolivarian National Guard seized a lot of war material

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized a batch of war material belonging to the dissent of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), according to information released by this security force.

According to the publication of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias (UN), the material was in a state of abandonment on a stretch of the Machiques-Colon national highway, Jesús María Semprúm municipality, state of Zulia.

Among those seized were 494 cartridges of different calibers, including 363 intended for rifles. In addition, the lot contained six firearms: four pistols (Glock, Beretta and Walther), a Ruger carbine and an AK-47 rifle.

“They also seized two artisanal explosives, 7 rifle magazines, 6 pistol magazines, 1 laser sight and two radio transmitters,” ÚN reported.
