Bolivia: President Arce Denounces Irregular Movement in the Armed Forces

This Wednesday, the president of Bolivia, Luis Arce Catacora, denounced irregular mobilizations of Bolivian military units in the city of La Paz.

Through the social network X, the Bolivian president published: “We denounce irregular mobilizations of some units of the Bolivian Army. Democracy must be respected.”

According to information published by Telesur, people are reported mobilizing to Plaza Murillo to avoid a constitutional rupture, while shouting: “Coup plotters, coup plotters!” In this place are also the headquarters of the People's House, the Plurinational Legislative Assembly and the Bolivian Ministry .

For his part, the Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, appeared there and tried to communicate with members of one of the military vehicles, inside which was the general commander of the Army, General Juan José Zúñiga.
