Brazil: 7 people were killed in the municipality of Vicoça do Ceará

This Thursday, Brazilian authorities in a statement confirm that seven people were killed and two were injured in the municipality of Vicoça do Ceará, in northeastern Brazil.

According to a statement from the Military Police, the massacre occurred in the early morning in a square in the center of the city, located about 350 kilometers from Fortaleza, the capital of the state of Ceará.

Witnesses stated that the assailants were traveling in two cars and fled the scene after the attack.

In this regard, through the social network X, the governor of Ceará, Elmano de Freitas, regretted the events and described them as “unacceptable”.

“Rest assured that the criminals involved will be identified and arrested, one by one, so that they can pay in court for such an atrocity. My deepest condolences to family and friends,” wrote the governor
