BRICOMILES renovated Lesbia Plater school in Cúa en Miranda

This Monday, the Lesbia Plater National Educational Unit, located in Cúa Miranda state, was reinaugurated , after the rehabilitation work carried out by the National, Regional and Municipal Governments, through the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES) and the Foundation for Buildings and Educational Endowments (FEDE).

The day was attended by the Deputy Minister of Facilities and Logistics, Willian Gil, who explained that the school increased its enrollment after the works.

“The enrollment was approximately 700 students, now we are reaching 1036 students, which means that it increased significantly,” Gil said .

This campus received general painting work, restoration of living rooms and other areas, and was also equipped with desks, desks and kitchen utensils.

“This is the plan that our president Nicolás Maduro has designed to serve the infrastructure and serve the teachers who are the most committed, as well as the mother cooks who are cooking every day for our children,” said the deputy minister.

These works of reopening and maintaining schools will continue to be carried out throughout the country.

Gil added: “After the BRICOMILES plan advanced, we have seen in the Ministry (of Education) how school enrollment has increased (...) This is an achievement, because education was affected by the pandemic, by the situation that the country has been going through, but today we can proudly say that we are reaching 98% of school enrollment,” concluded the deputy minister.
