The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced that this Tuesday the
new days of collecting signatures begin, in all Bolivar squares in the country, in support of Venezuelan migrants kidnapped
in El Salvador.
“We have a task, we have a task that is to collect
signatures so that all our children come back,” Cabello recalled during the weekly press
conference on the red awning this Monday, noting that this initiative
“has been joined by a number of people who are not members of the party, who are family members of the detainees,
of those kidnapped in El Salvador.”
He stressed that the collection of signatures denounces the
mistreatment, the violation of the human rights of Venezuelans who are
kidnapped by the government of Nayib Bukele. “President Bukele
is a kidnapper (...) What crime did these Venezuelans who have
been kidnapped in Salvadoran territory commit? None of them have committed crimes in Salvadoran
territory,” the revolutionary leader reiterated.
In this regard, he emphasized that the action of the
Bukele government “is a demonstration of arrogance, but in addition to submission, they use the
territory of El Salvador to have Venezuelans kidnapped without having committed crimes in El Salvador.
The world is seeing that,” he stressed.
“This collection of signatures must be our voice in
the world to denounce with our signature, with our presence, the acts of
kidnapping against Venezuelans in El Salvador, that they return them to us, that all our children
return. And if someone has committed crimes here, they
will face Venezuelan justice where they committed them,” he said.
