Cabello criticizes leaders who are running for all offices: Is there no one else?

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, criticized leaders running for any office on Thursday and urged that new revolutionary leaders be opened throughout the country.

During the press conference on the red awning, ahead of the nomination meetings of candidates and candidates for the regional and legislative elections of May 25, which will be held throughout the country this weekend, Cabello explained that “all participants in the assemblies have the possibility of self-running.”

“It may happen that someone says: 'I want to self-apply because no one wants to run for me', self-apply (...) there will be some who go to the assembly and don't want to run for anyone, they just want to participate in the assembly,” he explained.

Cabello stressed that “gender parity, breadth, the generational theme and new leadership must be promoted for the application. We have criticized those colleagues who are running for whatever comes out. Even because of a shooting they are going to apply (...) Isn't there anyone else?” , he questioned.

In this regard, he said that's what the parties are for, “for the constant formation of new generations, of new leaders, of emerging leaders, every day in our communities there are recognized leaders of all parties, not just the PSUV, of all parties throughout Venezuela. ”
