This Saturday, the Minister of the People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in statements to the press, offered an updated balance sheet of Operation Lightning in the state of Zulia, where a strong relationship with María Corina Machado was discovered.

In the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism involving a group of businessmen through the owner of a shrimp farm in Zulia, he reported his association with groups of the fascist right led by Mrs. María Corina Machado.

“The details come after a meeting that Machado held in Colombia,” said Cabello, who assured that in this way the whole puzzle could be put together that “ultimately leads us to establish the link between conspiracy, drug trafficking, corruption, conspiracy with all the aspects involving sectors that exercise government functions in the state of Zulia.”

“We have perhaps dealt the hardest blow that has been dealt to drug trafficking gangs in recent times; President Nicolás Maduro announced it, we have confirmed it that way, in accordance with his instructions, that this year we are going against all terrorist gangs, destabilizers, conspirators, drug traffickers that operate throughout the country,” said the minister.

In this regard, he stressed that investigations have found a direct link to trafficking and conspiracy “and that has to do with the degradation of politics, there is no reason for a politician to end up being linked to drug trafficking groups”

In this context, he added that there should be no reason for both or all of them to be organically linked to achieve an end, which is what they have been proposing: desire to get out of the Bolivarian Revolution, “to end the Constitution of Venezuela, the Constitution of Venezuelans and Venezuelans that we all vote for.”
