This Wednesday, July 17, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that the mayors and mayors of the opposition who have declared themselves independent and in favor of the candidacy of Nicolás Maduro have not been pressured by anyone.
“Nobody has pressured them. Every day they demonstrate, but some of them are afraid, and whoever I can meet with I meet, talk and tell them to come here we are going to build Venezuela for everyone and everyone, in peace,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 485.
He specified that the decline of these opponents in support of the candidate of the Revolution is due to the political coherence maintained by President Nicolás Maduro, who has always called for peace and dialogue.
In this way, he reaffirmed that that is why today the independence of the Fatherland has an added value, which is peace. “We are a free, independent, sovereign and peaceful country; we have won and conquered the peace that serves all Venezuelans,” he said.
