Cabello on PSUV candidates: Ready men and women from the grassroots consultation

This Monday, March 24, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that this week the candidates of the Revolution will come out for the elections called by the National Electoral Council (CNE) for May 25.

“This week, our candidates must come out for the elections of Governors, the National Assembly and the Legislative Council, ready women and men, after consulting the grassroots, using measurement mechanisms and the agreement with the Great Patriotic Pole, which also have their mechanisms,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that the formula for the election of candidates is unitary and forms part of the strength of the Bolivarian Revolution.

On the other hand, as for the opposition, he said that “nowadays you don't know what they are doing, you don't know if they will register and if they have candidates, they are all scarred by acts of corruption by abandoning their own people”.
