The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, questioned the presidents and international
organizations that are silent in the face of actions committed by the Government of El Salvador, with the support of the United States, against Venezuelan migrants.
“We have seen in the media and
on the networks the treatment of some Venezuelans in El Salvador,
humiliating, vexatious treatment, criminalizing them, reducing them. Isn't there anyone in the world who says anything?
Where is the UN (United Nations Organization) located? And
I'm going to tell the presidents who are quiet: Now they're going for their
peoples,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.
In this regard, he indicated that Venezuelans are not the highest percentage of migrants in the United States. “Take out
the account and search so they can see how there are citizens from other countries who are going to work and are now accused of being terrorists,” he said.
He pointed out that migration has always
been a business for imperialism and its lackeys. “After María Corina,
Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, Juan Guaidó, Paparoni, Vecchio, Pizarro, Ledezma,
Smolanski became rich because of the Venezuelans who left (...) now the business continues,” he said.
He also referred to a news report stating that
the United States will pay El Salvador to imprison “alleged
members of the Aragua Train”. In turn, he described this action as the
closest thing to fascism, since none of the Venezuelans are identified with
this criminal organization.
For this reason, he described the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele and the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, as fascists. In addition, he said that Bukele “should see himself in the mirror of US partners, what happens to them next, he should, but he is drunk, drunk with hate.”
