The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said on Monday that every travel alert issued by the United States (USA) against Venezuela presents plans or acts of violence driven by opposition extremism with the complicity of the North American country.
“It is very striking that at the height of the investigations in the month of October, a large group of American citizens were captured here in Venezuela. Some of them we have given to the United States government. Others are still in detention. We haven't relaxed at all. Mercenaries and American terrorists have stopped arriving,” Cabello said at a press conference where he unveiled new plans to destabilize the country in the framework of the elections on May 25.
He stressed that at this time the renewal of the US travel alert “has really had no impact for us, it's their problem there, their problem there, but it always catches our attention because every time they do this, there are acts of violence in Venezuela,” he emphasized.
In this sense, he ironized that the American authorities “kind of have an oracle to guess the trace, don't they? Don't go there, what do you know?” , he questioned.
