Cabello: Operation Tun Tun is in full swing

This Monday, the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a meeting with the press, assured that Operation TunTun is in effect, after reporting on the arrest for conspiracy of 38 mercenaries.

Cabello said that “we are knocking on doors right now, because we are obliged to guarantee peace in the country. When people are desperate they make mistakes and there's Operation Tun Tun, but then they complain.”

He also reiterated that the presence of an Albanian citizen in the country is no accident. “It has already been demonstrated how they used shrimp shipments to “impregnate” them with cocaine; we captured several officials, sadly there is complicity. The number of detainees continues to rise... We have not relaxed, American terrorists have stopped arriving and we attribute it to the application of the corrections necessary for entry into Venezuela,” he said.

The sector vice-president stressed that after the report of a kidnapping in Lara state, where the victim's relatives were extorted with cryptocurrency payments, the components of the public forces were activated to capture the culprits, since “everyone has spoken and confessed that they were seeking to kidnap the families of officials.”

“What we called a political fact has become a criminal act of the lowest level,” he said, adding that “we know that they have no scruples.”
