The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the
Bolivarian Government remains alert to the issue of rains throughout the
national territory, to respond to the affected population.
“We have been dealing with the issue of
rain for days, right now we have a break with tropical waves, but we must not let our guard
down,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference this Monday.
In this regard, he noted that the Apure state,
this time, was quite affected by rainfall. “There was a
need to cut off the main road so that the water could flow
on one side,” he said.
He pointed out that despite the difficult times, the National Government, together with the regional and local governments, were always present to serve the population.
