Cabello: The country's economic power has always placed the presidents of the Fourth Republic

During the broadcast of the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted how power was managed in the country during the Fourth Republic.
“The country's economic power always put the presidents of the Fourth Republic, from (Romulo) Betancourt here, on the condition that that president would place one of them in the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), from finance minister to one of them, in the relevant positions that would manage the economy to benefit,” said Cabello.
He also stressed that companies belonging to the State were managed by the same political power, they come from governing this country with privileges.
“Those who have power always want more and have more money, which is why the links with drug trafficking and paramilitaries because they need power,” said the general secretary of the PSUV.
He also stressed that since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Bolivarian Revolution “it has stopped all privileges, they (the Fourth Republic) manage politics as if it were a company running over everyone.”
