Cabello: The coup attempt 6 years ago was defeated by the military, police and people union

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled that the coup attempt 6 years ago was defeated by the union of the military, police and people, who came out to defend democracy.

“Which democracy? The democracy of the elites, of the small groups, of those who destroyed the country for years and who are still trying to destroy it today,” he said.

He recalled that the coup plotters shed tears of emotion at the reunion between fascists.

“This distributor was used for years to make guarimbas, to cause harm to our people, now it's used to celebrate a great popular victory. We will never return this space to betrayal, to homelands, to terrorists, to those who do not want peace and quiet,” he added.
