Cabello: The extreme right wants to show the world that in Venezuela there are no conditions for making elections

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said on Monday that the extreme right is promoting terrorist plans to make the world believe that in Venezuela there are no conditions for holding elections.

“The scenario that they (the extreme right) want to present to the world is that in Venezuela there are no conditions to make a choice,” Cabello said in statements to the press.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that, despite the actions of the extreme right, the National Electoral Council (CNE) has fully complied with the electoral schedule for the elections this Sunday, May 25.

“Everything planned has been done and the country is ready for these elections; Plan Bolivar formally kicks off this week; electoral centers are being taken within the framework of Plan República,” he said.

At the same time, he assured that today Venezuelans have seen all the security officials on the streets patrolling to make the forecasts for what will be a new electoral holiday in the country.
