Diosdado Cabello Rondón assured that the Venezuelan opposition prefers to pay for its mistakes because it does not have the humility to recognize when it is wrong.

“In politics, those who don't learn from their mistakes end up paying for them and the opposition prefers to pay them, because when they do things wrong they don't recognize it, because they copied their arrogance from their imperial masters,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando #525 program.

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) asserted that the Venezuelan opposition has no leadership and is terribly inept, very incapable. “Despite having resources, money, international support, they were unable to articulate a real victory,” he added.

“The opposition won the elections in 2015 and in a short time they squandered that victory and turned it into a new defeat,” he recalled.

In that sense, he added that when revolutionaries “lose, we learn from mistakes”.
