The
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello, stressed that despite the attacks and the tests they have
put on this Revolution, here we are always moving forward along the
path that Commander Hugo Chávez left us.
“We
live from challenge to challenge. This Revolution has been tested
in every way and we are standing; we are governing and we are moving forward,”
he said during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 562 program
In that sense, he made a reflection that sometimes progress is made with a lot of speed and another with less. “A Formula 1 racer once said: when you go at a slower speed, you go to more revolution. You have to understand that, it's the mechanics of a vehicle. Why? Because you take the opportunity to rethink, to correct mistakes and to see how you are going to face the challenges,” he said.

He also
highlighted the importance of perseverance under any circumstance.
“You draw strength to move forward, to move forward and to continue
fighting,” he said, stressing that we must continue to move forward as the President
of the Republic Nicolás Maduro said: “without expecting anything from anyone, but from ourselves.”
He stressed
that everything the Revolution has been doing and experiencing is not easy.
“One in the midst of this situation, one is human and indignant, but we know
what we have to do and we are doing it together,” he said, stressing that the strength of the People also
always drives us to continue moving forward.
For
this reason, he affirmed that two months after the attack against this Homeland and the vile
kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, this People are
still moving along the path of the Revolution in peace.
“Our people will succeed, if we have to fight, we fight; if we have to dance, we dance; if we have to laugh, we laugh; if we have to cry, we cry and cry together; if we have to fight, we fight. And what if it is true that on this path we are all together and we will all continue together,” he said.

Chávez left the well-founded foundations of revolutionary unity
The revolutionary
leader emphasized that Commander Chávez left the Revolution
well-founded, stressing that that is why today the Revolution
is a single united block to face any circumstance.
“Before
Chávez arrived, what the left in Venezuela
knew how to do was to divide, it was impossible to agree. Some called Chávez
a caudillo because he came to impose. It was necessary to unite!
(...) that's why Chávez left the foundations
well-founded,” he said.
For this reason, he affirmed that today “when we remain united in any situation, that is Chávez (...) We in the midst of this storm, there we are, and we are where we are thanks to that unity and the efforts of the Venezuelans themselves.”

He emphasized that the unity of Chavism is not
circumstantial, but is a structural unit. “We are structurally united,
any situation will find us united, not out of convenience,”
he said.
He assured that whoever tries to put a
cap on Chavism to try to divide it, “the people are going to swallow it”, stressing that this is part of
the solid unity maintained by the revolutionary forces.
In addition, he took the opportunity to reaffirm that today “Chavéz is still protecting his people”, recalling that it was with the Commander who gave voice and vote to the men and women who for years were invisible in this country.

What people want is peace in this country
Cabello
assured that Venezuelans have always made clear their desire to
live in peace and tranquility, recalling the destabilization that the country has had to
face by sectors of fascism that what they have wanted to impose is violence.
“What
people want is peace in this country, it's not right now, it's always been like that,” he
said, recalling the victory of the People in perfect
civic-military-police union on February 23, 2019 in the Battle of The Bridges.
He stressed that this fact demonstrated what this people are made of and that today that great victory is part of the history of Venezuela.

He pointed out
that that day in Táchira, Bolivarians who love
independence and Santanderistas kneeling to imperialism faced each other. “That was a great victory for the Venezuelan people, for
the authentic Bolivarian sentiment, because the Santander people couldn't do it
then and they won't be able to right now,” he emphasized.
In this regard, he also recalled that the opposition sectors that promoted an invasion against the Homeland that day are the same ones that now want to appear before the People with their faces “well washed, or rather, badly washed”.

On March 8, we have to go out en
masse to participate in the Consultation
The also sectoral vice-president of
Politics, Citizen Security and Peace called on the People to
participate in the next National Popular Consultation, which
will be held on March 8.
“The Consultation is on March 8, which is also Women's
Day, imagine the party that's going to take place here (...) on those days
we have to go out massively to participate,” she urged.
He specified that the vehicles and motorcycles with which the Peace Quadrants have been equipped can serve to help mobilize the People that day . “Take only one, you can't take two, take one, but take it to vote; go, come back and go again; that's from the People,” he said.

He stated that these vehicles “what they should not
be good for is to carry beer, but they should help the people in everything that is
organization and participation.”
At the same time, he also took advantage of the space to
invite the people to enjoy the Elorza festivities in the state of Apure,
in peace and health, regarding the inappropriate behavior that occurred during the festivities last year.
“That's to enjoy it, not to go crazy, I think that no one enjoys going crazy, enjoy it healthily, that's something for the family (...) If someone lives by their traditional Llanero Peoples, then are we going to go from here in Caracas to stir up their traditions to the people of Elorza? It's not good, it's not fair,” he said.

Those who believe that the
amnesty contemplates future crimes are in trouble
Regarding the recently approved
Amnesty Law, the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace also warned
that those who benefit from this legal instrument cannot think that it exempts
them from committing future crimes.
“The current Amnesty Law for Democratic
Coexistence does not contemplate future crimes, whoever believes this
is in trouble. Whoever wants to understand, let him understand it. Life is giving
them an opportunity, the Venezuelan political system, the
Bolivarian Revolution, gives them an opportunity to do politics,” he said.
In the same way, he emphasized that
amnesty does not imply oblivion. At the same time, he questioned the
opposition sectors that try to defend murderers, corrupt people and drug traffickers with this Law.
In addition, he recalled that there were no amnesty processes in the country between 1950 and 1998, and in the first administration of former President Rafael Caldera, “they invented one thing: a policy of pacification, which consisted first of the demobilization of the revolutionary forces that had taken a path of struggle and then, in the full identification of each one.”

In this context, Cabello emphasized that
with this policy “they were taken out to identify them and they murdered a mob
during the Caldera government, under the government of Carlos Andrés,
who murdered young people, most of them (...) The peace of the graves, said Commander
Chávez, was applied, not a real peace.”
He emphasized that it was with the arrival of the Commander
with whom he actually granted a true pardon and raised a sincere
call for dialogue; as did the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“Then the bad guy in Chávez had a
coup d'etat, they conspired on him (...) and the madman Nicolás did the same,
even with those who tried to kill him,” he said, stressing that an amnesty is an
act that has to do with the revolutionary spirit.
For this reason, he stressed to the revolutionary forces that “we should not feel bad about an Amnesty Law . That is a very noble decision (...) it is a political act that requires nobility of spirit and understanding politics (...) Chávez gave us the way (...) we have a clear conscience, that cannot be embodied by someone with a spirit of hate; some will say that we are going to make mistakes, well we will be wrong, but I am sure that we will come out stronger”, he said.
