The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, told the opposition on Monday that they cannot blame Chavism for their weaknesses and poor organization.

“Why is the right fighting for the tricolor points? Because they don't have it and they don't have it because they're not organized, but that's not our fault, don't blame us for their weaknesses,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.

In that sense, he referred to the fact that the PSUV and the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole (GGP) are organized following the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro: “convince to win, motivate to succeed and organize to vote; and that is what we are doing”.

He stated that the revolutionary forces are working together to “underpin the victory of July 28, a splendid, overwhelming victory, a victory that guarantees peace, that is, a perfect victory”.
