Cabello to the youth: Politics is not separated from the people

This Wednesday, July 17, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized to the revolutionary youth that politics is always done on the side of the people.

“A revolutionary cannot do politics away from the People (...) you are going to have to lead this (the Bolivarian Revolution a) and you cannot get used to doing politics away from the People”, was Cabello's call to the youth during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 485.

In this regard, he reminded young people of the importance of caring for and preserving what the Revolution has conquered, stressing that today's generations have not had to fight like in the era of the Fourth, when some had to risk even their lives.

“Young people sometimes get used to comfort because they didn't have to fight like the founding generation and the forerunner (...) I get rid of the stone when I'm on a march and I get to the stage and I get some young people as if they came from the beauty salon, that's terrible,” he said.

For this reason, he reaffirmed to the youth that they must always be with the People, because “the People are wise and are always giving us lessons, they tell us things, they are the best thermometer,” he said.
