This Wednesday, October 7, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the Venezuelan people maintain a deep spiritual connection with Commander Hugo Chávez, pointing out that the rain that accompanied the mobilization in commemoration of the great electoral victory 14 years ago is proof of this.
“The truth of a People's love for a man, for a man made People, Homeland, for a man with whom we all identify, with Hugo Chávez,” he said.
He also stressed that Commander Chávez, despite his pain and illness, gave his strength and his life to the People of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution.
Cabello recalled how the streets of Caracas overflowed with love in support of Commander Hugo Chávez during that election day.
